How Many Wrongs make a Mr Right?

by: Stella Hervey Birrell

‘But I’m a lonely, modern, strident feminist.’

Meet Melissa. Incurably Romantic.  Mildly Amoral. Terminally Single.
From noisy pub to folk club, from broken heart to new start, follow Melissa’s journey from teenager to mother via the despicable decisions and massive mistakes of her early twenties. You’ll want to shake her, you’ll want to hug her, but most of all you’ll want to know how everything turns out.

A story about frog-kissing, bed-hopping, sliding off your lily-pad with embarrassment…and croaking with joy.

What reviewers say:

‘more refined chick-lit’
‘comparable to Jill Mansell and Jane Green in terms of plot and quality’
‘perceptive, evocative, and at times downright funny’

Stella Hervey Birrell is an emerging writer of women’s fiction. Her debut novel, How Many Wrongs make a Mr Right? was published in 2016. She also writes short stories, poetry, flash fiction, and even the odd children’s story, if only to distract her own children from the biscuit tin.Born but not bred in a market town in Fife, in the east of Scotland, Stella claims that her line can be traced back to Genghis Khan on her mother’s side, while her father’s grandparents were big in Art Noveau in Hungary at the beginning of the 20th century. She insists that this is why she was born with weak wrists and a natural disregard for domestic cleanliness.Stella lives in an East Lothian rural idyll with her cat, husband and two sons. In that order.Author Photo Courtesy of Gordon Bell
