Adrian currently lives in Cornwall with his wife and four children. He splits his time between writing fiction and studying creative writing, and hopes to begin his degree in creative writing in September 2016. Adrian began writing while serving in the British army where he served for almost seven years. He started with poetry, and was given a word processor, which was the catalyst required to begin his writing career. After leaving the Army in 2002 he embarked on a career as a lorry driver, both long distance, tramping across Europe and locally driving fuel tankers. This is when he wrote The Helland Reckoning. In august 2015 he decided to step away from driving and back into education, where his goal is to become a teacher.
When not writing he can be found on the football field, making the most of it before age consumes his knees and banishes him to the side lines forever! His other hobbies include reading, skiing and walking.
